In 1991, while we were helping build Chuck E. Cheese’s new cartoon world beyond the restaurant shows, we developed an original comic book series intended for in-store sales and ticket redemption.
Corporate passed—but the idea never left us.
The concept?
The Make-Believe Band in high-energy, cinematic adventures with a playful Indiana Jones-style twist.
Two issues were planned:
Quesoblanca – Chapter 1: Mystery of the Mummy’s Mommy
Quesoblanca – Chapter 2: The Maltese Chicken
While the series was never produced, we completed 12 original penciled pages for Chapter One—now fully restored and included here.
